Burma Urad:
Burma origin FAQ variety urad was priced higher Rs 50 to Rs 6,050/100Kg on millers buying, slow arrivals in domestic markets and thin supply from overseas. Millers are active in need-based buying at low rates depending on sale of processed urad on retail and wholesale counters.
Papad manufacturers are buying urad followed by some good demand from North Indian inquiries for Kali urad dal for winter consumption.
Urad price is likely to remain weak as new crop supply from Burma is expected to hit Indian ports by month-end.
